Keep Me Safe App for International Students

New International Student Support Program: Keep.me SAFE

For international students, studying abroad is an exciting life experience, but one that also comes with many challenges. Students face all the usual demands and pressures of college life while at the same time adjusting to different classroom expectations and a new culture, often while communicating in a second or additional language.

Keep.me SAFE is now available to support international students at MHC as they adapt to study and life Canada. Keep.me SAFE provides students with 24-hour access to multilingual and multicultural experts, so that students may discuss their challenges and concerns with someone who speaks their language and understands their culture.

Students can access support by:

  • downloading the My SSP App (available from the App store/ Google Play)
  • calling 1.844.451.9700, or
  • visiting www.keepmesafe.org

Please contact the International office (403.504.3615) room C226 with any questions.
