Keep an eye out on campus for upcoming events- all are free for students and often feature perks like free food and prizes!
Among the services offered are sexual health information and safe sex supplies, menstrual products, food bank support, and community referrals. All services are offered by the Health & Wellness Coordinator and other staff at the SA.

Health and Wellness Initiatives
Our Health and Wellness Coordinator works to raise awareness about various factors affecting students’ health and well-being. These initiatives aim to enhance student success and overall happiness. We organize activities that encourage discussion and reflection on relevant issues such as:
- Mental Health Promotion
- Stress Reduction and Coping Strategies
- Consent and Healthy Relationships
- Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness
- Substance Use Education and Harm Reduction Strategies
- Gender-based Violence and 2SLGBTQIA+ Awareness
- Various awareness days such as: Orange Shirt Day, Montreal Massacre Vigil, Bell Let’s Talk Day

Food Bank
Our on-campus Food Bank offers short-term assistance for students experiencing food insecurity. Students can receive a 3-day supply of non-perishable food items, including canned soups and Kraft dinners. Please be aware that all items are shelf-stable; we do not have fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, or other refrigerated or frozen items available.
For students facing longer-term food insecurity, our Health and Wellness Coordinator can refer them to the city’s food bank, The Root Cellar.
We collect data to advocate for student needs. Personal information remains confidential and is not shared outside the SA Food Bank. Only aggregate statistical data, such as the number of students accessing services, funding sources, and demographic information, is used for advocacy purposes. All users of the SA Wellness Hub are expected to adhere to our Confidentiality and Respect Principles, which are posted in the Wellness Hub.

We offer a range of sexual and reproductive health services including:
- Period Products: tampons and pads
- Safe-Sex Supplies: condoms, dental dams, lube
- Information & Resources: comprehensive resources on sexual and reproductive health and connections to community services, programs, and professionals
