Candidate Bio

Hello! I am Kyler Brost, a Business Administration student at the Medicine Hat College. I was born and raised in Medicine Hat and I’m working toward pursuing a professional accounting designation because I enjoy crunching numbers and am interested in how businesses run and operate. I have several years of experience in residential construction, where I developed a strong work ethic, problem solving skills, and the ability to work with a team efficiently. I’ve also gained leadership experience through volunteering in my church. Some of my best qualities are, being able to learn quickly, I’m able to find creative solutions to problems, and I am motivated to carry out tasks to the best of my ability, no matter what I’m doing. Outside of school, I enjoy hunting, working on my truck, snowboarding, mountain biking, and slalom skiing. I enjoy doing these because it keeps me physically and mentally active.

Candidate Bio:

I’m Haven, a student leader committed to making academic processes clearer, fairer, and easier for my peers to navigate. As the current Vice President Internal, I’ve focused on improving access to complaint pathways, strengthening academic support, and creating communication tools that reduce confusion and stress. My background in disability advocacy, policy work, and conflict resolution shapes how I lead: with clarity, empathy, and a willingness to ask hard questions when systems aren’t working. I believe every peer deserves transparent processes, consistent support, and someone who will stand beside them as they navigate academic challenges. I’m running to continue building structures that empower students and make our college more accessible for everyone.
